Backflow prevention and cross connection control maintain the correct flow in water distribution systems, thereby protecting our drinking water from contamination.
In order to ensure that drinking water is safe from potential contaminants entering into the system, the I.E.P.A., Illinois State Plumbing Code and Local Codes require backflow prevention on all water services and annual cross-connection inspections on these devices.
